I grew up in Bapong the mother village of Marikana near Brits. As a teenager I listened to Radio Bop and was hooked , didn’t imagine doing anything else in my adult life. I got so inspired by the many legendary deejays of the station and really aspired to be a Radio presenter myself.
I started off at Radio Veritas (Catholic Station) as a co-host then later on moved to Mix Fm Midrand based local station as a traffic reporter for the afternoon drive show.
Of late I happened to be privileged enough to meet one the legendary faces of the then Radio Bop at a gym Hector 😀 who told me the good news that Radio Bop is coming back and here I am now I’m proud to be part of the Radio Institution that gave birth to the many legendary-voices that we all grew up looking up to.
